Happy New Year 2025
First things first, Happy New Year to you all..
I always look forward to a new fresh year, it reminds me of a new diary or a new exercise book at school; we start them all nice and neat and before we know it we are half way through, we have crossed things out, not completed all the exercises and then we blink and it's Christmas again and we are in the fridge, looking for snacks.
Anyhoo, I waffle once more.
I am going to be doing my plans for 2025 soon. I am still pondering what new product to bring out as new this year. I do have a few ideas. Do I do photo albums, personalised of course or do I bring in the water bottles I tested last year. I also have ideas for gift vouchers, some new birthday and anniversary card ranges. All seem to show the same potential as each other on the online market and while it may not look like a lot of time goes into developing a collection and launching a new product, I can assure you, it takes months.. I can also add personalised colouring books and glass tumblers into the mix and that gives me quite the exhaustive list to ponder over. Oh biscuit tins as well, I forgot about the biscuit tins. Considering how much I love a good biscuit, that is quite the shock!
But, before I do any of this, I must up sticks in my rented office and make myself cozy in my new garden studio that is almost completed. After 2 months of groundworks, insulation, electrics and now the interior, we are nearly at completion and all that will be left is for me to pop my machinery and endless supplies into place and I will be raring to go.
I must also say thank you to all of my amazing customers for keeping me busy over the Christmas period. I worked solid for 35 days, with a fair few 14 hour days per week too. I managed to get every order shipped before Christmas, even the last minute ones so I did feel a huge sense of achievement. I mean, by Christmas eve I resembled a dropped trifle, my carpets were crying out for any kind of relationship with the hoover and my poor husband was starved of attention. But anyone who knows me knows that December is Sarky month, all of my energy is dedicated to work, not one drop of alcohol is consumed and I remain very focused.
Christmas on the other hand.. Well considering I don't drink a lot, I did manage to do a good impression of someone who was fond of the odd tipple. So safe to say, I am thrilled to be back to normal.
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and I wish you good health and happiness, the two main things in life, for 2025.
TTFN
Paula :)
